CAF reportedly sacks Désiré Noumandiez Doué amid Morocco’s protest over Super Falcons WAFCON win

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has reportedly sacked its Director of Refereeing, Désiré Noumandiez Doué.

This report comes following the Super Falcons’ victory in the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) final.

Recall that the Super Falcons of Nigeria defeated Morocco 3-2 in an epic comeback at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat, Morocco.

The victory was met with widespread celebration in Nigeria, with President Bola Tinubu congratulating the team and holding a reception for them at the Presidential Villa.

Additionally, he gifted them $10,000, landed properties, and other rewards in recognition of their achievement.
