Burna Boy donates N140 million to VeryDarkMan’s NGO, becomes highest single donor

Afrobeats star Burna Boy has donated N140 million to the non-governmental organisation (NGO) run by controversial social media critic VeryDarkMan (VDM), making him the highest single donor to the initiative so far.

The donation was revealed online by VeryDarkMan, who shared evidence of the transaction showing the funds credited to his NGO’s account.

According to him, the money was sent through Burna Boy’s brand, Spaceship Collective.

Donation Surpasses Don Jazzy’s N100m Support

With the N150 million contribution, Burna Boy has now surpassed music executive Don Jazzy, who previously donated N100 million to the same NGO.

The development has positioned Burna Boy as the largest individual supporter of the cause.

Purpose of the Funds

VeryDarkMan stated that the donation would be used to support humanitarian efforts, including paying fines for inmates unable to regain their freedom and settling medical bills for Nigerians in need.

He emphasized that the funds would be channeled strictly toward social intervention projects.
