Bride’s father returns bride price to groom with warning

A father has caused a stir online as he is seen returning his daughter’s bride price to his son-in-law with a stern warning on their wedding day.

The Nigerian father brought the bride price with him along to his daughter’s bride price. He returned the money the man paid as bride price while giving him a note of warning to take good care of his child.

He was seen telling the man that the money would serve as a dowry to him so that they can add the cash to whatever they had so the wife doesn’t go hungry.

They further warned that if she ever goes hungry they’d storm his house to take the wife back from him.
