BLord, commonly known as Bitcoin Lord, was born on March 14, 1998, in Umuji Ebenebe, Anambra State, Nigeria. He is the firstborn and eldest son of seven siblings. He spent his boyhood in Anambra, where he received both his elementary and secondary schooling.

After that, he went to Anambra State University to pursue computer science. Career BLord began his professional adventure in 2017 after establishing a strong interest in Bitcoin. Quickly learning the fundamentals, he began trading and investing in Bitcoin.

Furthermore, he took it upon himself to create educational content regarding cryptocurrencies, which he kindly shared with other fans.

In 2019, BLord took the initiative to launch his bitcoin investing enterprise, Blord Group of Companies. This company dealt with cryptocurrency and had several other businesses, including the Bitcoin Store, Gadget Store, Luxury Store, Automobile Center, JetPay, and BillPoint.

With these different business organisations under his belt, BLord intended to build a comprehensive platform that met the needs and interests of both cryptocurrency fans and investors. Blord has faced several legal problems. Linus Williams was detained by Nigerian police in July 2024 on suspicion of bitcoin fraud, cyber crimes, and terrorism sponsorship.

The charges also include assisting in online fraud and money laundering through his cryptocurrency companies.

His arrest occurred after complaints were filed against his firms, prompting an investigation by the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID).

The charges included noncompliance with financial regulations, specifically regarding his bitcoin trading platforms. Even though the police investigation is still ongoing, Blord has maintained his innocence, maintaining that his firms follow the law.

As of mid-2024, investigations into Blord’s businesses were still underway, with police and regulatory officials investigating the complaints levelled against him.

In 2022, he was detained by Nigeria’s Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on charges of internet fraud.

Following a court hearing, Blord was acquitted, and the EFCC was ordered to release his seized assets, which included luxury automobiles detained during the inquiry. Blord hailed his victory on social media, emphasising that the legal decision cleared him of any wrongdoing.

BLord is blissfully married to his wife, Linus Francisca, a medical doctor. They exchanged vows at a young age; BLord was 21 when they tied the knot.

Linus Francisca gave birth to their first kid at the age of 22, shortly after their marriage. The couple affectionately called their adorable baby of joy Elliot Ifejika.
