#BBNaijaS10: Victory rejects Joanna’s friendship offer, insists on dating
Big Brother Naija housemates Victory and Joanna had an emotional exchange on Saturday night after the party, as tension over their relationship status heightened.
Victory, who has been open about his romantic feelings for Joanna, once again expressed his desire to be more than friends.
However, Joanna stood her ground, insisting that she was not interested in pursuing a romantic relationship inside Biggie’s house.
“I like you as a person but I want my individuality. I like you as a friend,” Joanna told him.
Unwilling to compromise, Victory rejected her offer of friendship, saying he could not pretend or suppress his emotions.
“We can’t be just friends because I can’t put my emotions aside,” he responded.
The conversation ended on a somber note, with Joanna lamenting her situation. “I don’t have anybody in this house and now the only person I talk to wants something else,” she said.
