#BBNaijaS10: I regret being my authentic self – Tracy

Recently evicted Big Brother Naija Season 10 contestant, Tracy, has opened up about her regrets following her exit from the reality show.

In a post-eviction interview with Pulse, Tracy admitted that her calm and reserved nature may have played a role in her early eviction.

She confessed that she now feels she should have been more dramatic or confrontational to capture the audience’s attention and extend her stay in the house.

“If I could take back anything I did in the house, it would be being myself. Right now, I wish I had gotten into unnecessary fights, shouting, or being dramatic. People said I was quiet and boring, and that made me leave early,” she said.

Reality TV as performance

Tracy went on to acknowledge the performative nature of the Big Brother platform, where contestants often amplify their personalities to create talking points and gain fan support.

She noted that failing to adapt to this strategy left her vulnerable in the competition.

“I wish I realized it was a game and I could act out of character and clear the air once I’m out,” she added.
