#BBNaija10: Koyin admits lying about age, opens up on reason

Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate Koyin has confessed that he lied about his age during the show’s premiere, revealing he is actually 25 and not 21 as he initially claimed.

Speaking with fellow housemate Gigi Jasmine, Koyin said he would be turning 25 on August 19, but shaved three years off his real age to suit his modelling career.

“I am 25 years old and not 21 years old. I had to reduce my age because of modelling,” he said.

Gigi commended him for his emotional intelligence, telling him, “You have some high level of emotional intelligence which I appreciate a lot.”

Koyin’s revelation follows a similar admission by housemate Ivatar, who initially told others she was 40 but later disclosed she is actually 37, saying she was only joking about her age.
