“Bandits may soon follow people to Lagos” – Mr Real raises alarm over rising insecurity, calls for urgent intervention

Nigerian singer Mr Real has expressed concern over the growing insecurity in different parts of the country and the increasing number of people relocating to Lagos State.

According to him, many Nigerians now see Lagos as the safest place to live, forcing people to leave their various states due to fear of attacks and insecurity.

“Lagos is becoming too crowded. Everybody is leaving their various states and moving to Lagos State believing Lagos is the safest place,” he said.

Mr Real further stated that criminal activities and violent attacks in several communities have continued to push people away from their homes and businesses.

The singer also called on President Bola Tinubu and other political leaders to urgently address the country’s security challenges before the situation worsens.

“Bandits and terrorists are now chasing people, and soon they may follow them to Lagos too. Let our President and other politicians do something about this insecurity,” he added.

His statement has added to ongoing conversations online about insecurity, internal migration, and safety concerns across Nigeria.

It will be recalled that late last year, the artiste, known for his hit song Legbegbe, also took to social media to express fear over what he described as a troubling dream involving possible attacks.

The concern comes amid repeated reports of violent incidents in several regions of the country, where banditry and kidnappings have left many dead or displaced.
