Wan-Bissaka has been given permission to travel to the Midlands for a medical after the two clubs reached an agreement. The exact financial terms of the deal remain undisclosed, although West Ham had previously valued the defender at around £25m.
Wan-Bissaka set for Villa move
The defender has missed West Ham’s opening two Championship matches of the season while negotiations over his future continued.
Wan-Bissaka joined West Ham from Manchester United and has now emerged as a target for Unai Emery as Villa look to strengthen their squad ahead of a campaign that will include both domestic and European football.

Villa finished fourth in the Premier League last season and also lifted the Europa League, securing another opportunity to compete in the Champions League.
Villa continue summer recruitment
The agreement for Wan-Bissaka comes during an active transfer window for Villa, who have also brought in midfielders Johan Manzambi and Joao Gomes.
They have added Chelsea winger Alejandro Garnacho on a loan deal with an obligation to buy, while highly rated young centre-back Modou Keba Cisse has also arrived.
Villa have funded much of their activity through player sales, with Morgan Rogers completing a £117m move to Chelsea.
The club currently have the lowest net spend in the Premier League at around £110m after sales are taken into account.
West Ham have also generated significant transfer income this summer, selling Mateus Fernandes to Tottenham for £85m and Crysencio Summerville for £60m. Captain Jarrod Bowen, however, has committed his future to the club by signing a new contract.
Wan-Bissaka could now complete his move to Villa before their Premier League opener away to Brighton on Sunday.
