“As long as you provide for your wife, you can cheat” – Man shares bold marriage advice

A Nigerian man has stirred reactions online after sharing his controversial opinion about cheating in marriage and the different standards he believes should apply to men and women.

According to him, a married man has the right to be with multiple women as long as he is financially taking care of his wife and family at home.

In his words, he said:

“As a man, if your wife catches you cheating, you don’t even have to explain to her because you are not wrong. As a guy, you are entitled to as many women as you want.”

The man further claimed that cheating should not be considered a bad thing for men, insisting that women have no right to question their husbands if they are being properly provided for.

He, however, maintained a different stance for women, stating that any married woman caught cheating should immediately return to her parents’ house.

“As long as you are providing for your wife at home, you can stay with any girl or woman you like. But as a woman, if you cheat, you dey go your papa house straight,” he added.

His statement has generated heavy backlash on social media, with many people criticising his views and describing them as unfair, outdated, and disrespectful to women.

Others, however, argued that relationship standards differ across cultures and personal beliefs, sparking further debate online.
