Recall he scored two penalties in their Saturday’s 4-3 win over West Ham.

Since joining Newcastle for a club-record fee of £60 million from Real Sociedad in 2022, Isak has endeared himself to fans with his style of play.

Despite his impressive performances, concerns linger over Newcastle’s financial situation, which can threaten his stay.

Newcastle is faced with Financial Fair Play (FFP) regulations, especially if they fail to secure European qualification.

Meanwhile, Isak himself had hinted at a potential move during the international break, suggesting that “things can happen” if opportunities arise.

Notwithstanding, Toon’s coach Howe, remains resolute in his stance, emphasizing Isak’s importance to the team and that no one at Newcastle wants to see him go.
