“Are you a true mother?” – Man confronts single mother over ₦2,100 transport fare, threatens legal action

A Nigerian man has sparked reactions online after confronting a single mother over ₦2,100 he allegedly sent her for transportation, claiming she stopped answering his calls after receiving the money.
In a phone conversation making rounds online, the man expressed frustration, claiming the woman had told him she was on her way after receiving the transfer.

He questioned why she stopped picking up his calls, saying he had been waiting under the impression that she was already coming.
“Are you a true mother? Why will I send you a transport fare of ₦2,100 and you say you’re on your way, making me believe you’re already coming? Immediately you received the money, you stopped picking my calls,” he said.
The man further questioned the woman’s explanation that her child was vomiting, asking whether the child had started vomiting while she was already on her way.
Angered by the situation, he threatened legal action, insisting that the money belonged to him.
“This is something I can sue you on. It’s my money,” he added.
The conversation has generated reactions online, with many weighing in on the disagreement over the ₦2,100 transport fare.
