A young lady has sparked fresh debate online after questioning whether men are now scared of marriage.
In a viral video shared on X, formerly known as Twitter, the visibly frustrated lady repeatedly asked why the men she meets appear unwilling to settle down.
“Are Men Now Scared of Marriage?”
In the emotional clip, she asked, “Are men now scared of marriage? I don’t understand, are men now scared of marriage, are men now scared to settle down?”
She wondered why her open declaration of wanting marriage had not attracted serious commitment.
“Because how can a fine young girl like me come out here boldly and said I want to marry, I can give money, I can give car, I can give land, what I’m seeing, I don’t even understand them,” she said.
The lady also addressed social media users who often advise women to “choose from the comment section.”
“The people am meeting, you people that always say, ehn, chose from comment section, the ones am meeting, are they not from comment section?” she asked.
Complaints About Dishonesty
She further expressed frustration over dishonesty in relationships.
“Are men now scared of marriage, let me know, what is going on that any body that I meet, they will end up lying to you. Lies ahn ahn, I don’t get it,” she said.
The young woman maintained that financial status was not a barrier for her.
“A young fine girl like me, what else are you looking for that I don’t have?” she questioned.
“I said I don’t care whether you have money ooh, I don’t care whether you don’t have money ooh, we can make the money together.”
She added, “We will start somewhere and make the money together, is that hard? Why are men now scared of marriage, what is going on?”
