“Are black Africans cursed?” — VDM questions why black African countries lag behind in development

Popular controversial speaker, VeryDarkMan (VDM), has sparked debate after questioning why some African countries with Black populations lag in development compared to others.

His post has ignited discussions about infrastructure, governance, and investment across the continent.

VDM questions why black African countries is behind

VDM shared his observations after traveling and comparing African countries.

When I came into this country, I started asking myself, is this really an African country? Then I realized that Africa, the only people doing well, are in African countries without Black skin. Are you so crazy?” he wrote.

Are African countries with Black skin cursed? Look at developed countries like Morocco, Algeria, Egypt, and others. Why is Black Africa different?”

He added that the differences are striking when examining roads, public facilities, and overall infrastructure.

Everything is working well elsewhere, but in Black Africa, it’s chaotic. People don’t communicate properly, governance fails, and investment is scarce,” VDM noted.

The post has divided opinion online, with some users agreeing with his observations and others calling them offensive or misleading.

The discussion touches on sensitive issues about race, governance, and regional development disparities across Africa.
