Apostle Emmanuel Iren warns Christians against dragging men of God

Apostle Emmanuel Iren has advised Christians to be careful about attacking or disrespecting men of God, particularly those they believe were sent by God.
Speaking during a recent sermon, Iren urged believers not to join people in dragging a man of God on social media or elsewhere unless they are certain the person has strayed from God’s will.

He warned that believers should not become an obstacle to someone carrying out an assignment they believe God gave them.
“If you see anybody, either on social media or anywhere, dragging a man of God, except you are sure he’s not of God. Don’t put your mouth. If God sends a man of God somewhere, don’t be the reason why he cannot fulfill what God sent him for. It’s a dangerous thing,” he said.
Iren also encouraged Christians to show respect to people carrying out seemingly small acts of service, using street evangelism as an example.
He explained that spiritually mature believers should not discourage someone distributing Christian tracts, even if they are already Christians or are not interested at the time.
“One of the ways if you’re spiritually matured is with little things, someone is sharing tracts on the street, even if you’re tired or already a believer, don’t discourage the person, take it.
There are few things God takes personally, like you treating someone he sent in a disrespectful way. When he appears, he won’t say why did you treat pastor so this way, he will say why did you treat me,” he added.
The cleric’s remarks have generated conversations among Christians online, with many reflecting on his message about respecting religious leaders and people carrying out what they believe to be divine assignments.
