Odumodublvck, who displayed the cross chain around his neck, referenced the Bible’s instruction for men to love their wives as Christ loved the church.
“Any man wey talk say him nor fit die for him woman na big fool. I’m a Christian. Christ said we should love our wife like Christ love the church, and what did Christ do for the church? Died for the church,” he said.
He explained that because his girlfriend is younger than him, he hopes to die before her and wants her to inherit and manage everything he leaves behind for their children.
The rapper also drew from his upbringing, recalling how his mother was a generous woman who gave freely to others. He described the woman as the “Queen” in a family, using chess to explain why he believes men should value and protect their partners.
“The biggest misconception people have about me, they think I’m misogynist. It bothers me a lot because it’s such an unfair thing to say. Like now, I want to die for my girlfriend. What are you guys saying? Will a misogynist die for his woman?” he added.
His comments have since drawn reactions from social media users, with some praising his views on love and describing him as a “lover boy.”
