“Any lady still living with her parents at 25 has failed” — Man sparks outrage with relationship confession

A man has triggered heated reactions online after sharing his controversial opinion about women who still live with their parents at the age of 25, backing his claim with a personal relationship experience.

The man explained that he met a woman early last year and the two dated briefly for about four weeks.

According to him, the relationship started well, as there was genuine affection between them and he made deliberate efforts to treat her right.

The relationship and growing frustrations

“I met this girl early last year, and we dated briefly for about four weeks or so. We genuinely liked each other. I treated her well, I took her to nice restaurants, we went on several dates, and I spent a lot of money on her” he said.

He added that the woman repeatedly blamed her strict upbringing for the limitations in their relationship, insisting she had a curfew and restricted freedom despite being an adult.

Birthday plans and the breaking point

The situation reportedly escalated on her birthday, which he described as the turning point that ended the relationship.

Man says he couldn’t understand why a grown up lady would be controlled by parents

“The final straw was her birthday. I spent over 600k on gifts and plans just to make her feel special. I even booked an apartment as a surprise. But when I called her that day, she told me her parents didn’t allow her to come out, so she couldn’t make it. All my plans, money, and effort went to waste,” he stated.

Out of frustration, the man admitted that he redirected the expensive gifts to another woman he was casually seeing at the time.

Following the incident, communication between him and the first woman ended. He said he could not understand why an adult woman was still heavily controlled by her parents and concluded that such a situation was not one he could continue with.
