Tragedy strikes as Anthony Joshua’s personal trainer, Latz, passes away in a car crash barely 24 hours after arriving in Nigeria.
Earlier, GistReel reported that the former heavyweight champion, was involved in a car accident on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway in Ogun State, earlier today.
Reports indicate he sustained minor injuries, while two people died in the accident .
According to reports, the accident happened when the Lexus SUV they were traveling in collided with a stationary truck on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway, allegedly due to excessive speed and wrongful overtaking
Latz Passes Away In Car Crash
Badou Jack, the 3-division boxing world champion, confirmed Latz’s passing via an Instagram post.
He expressed being stunned by the news and appealed to God to forgive Latz’s shortcomings.
His post reads, “Still in shock.May Allah forgive you for your shortcomings and grant you the highest level of paradise”.
According to ACD MMA, Latz, Anthony Joshua’s personal trainer, and Sina, his strength and conditioning coach, tragically lost their lives in the car crash.
