‘All good’ – Chalobah allays injury fears after Milan friendly knock

Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah has moved to calm fears over his fitness after limping out of the club’s 4-1 pre-season win over AC Milan at Stamford Bridge.
The 26-year-old was withdrawn in the 57th minute following a collision, raising concern just days after fellow academy graduate Levi Colwill suffered an ACL injury that will rule him out for most of the 2025/26 campaign.
Chalobah was later seen walking unaided and reassured supporters, saying: “All good everyone, thanks for the messages.”
With Wesley Fofana yet to feature in pre-season and Benoît Badiashile absent from the Milan squad, Chalobah’s availability will be key ahead of Chelsea’s Premier League opener against Crystal Palace on Sunday.
Manager Enzo Maresca has confirmed the club will move for a centre-back following Colwill’s injury, describing defensive reinforcements as “a priority.”
