Air Peace announces suspension of Lagos flights

Air Peace has announced a 12-hour suspension of Lagos flights, effective Saturday, July 12, 2025.

According to Air Peace, flights will be suspended from 3:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 12, 2025, and regular flight operations will resume at 4:00 p.m. on the same day.

The suspension is in response to the Lagos State Police Command’s announcement of movement restrictions during the local government elections.

Furthermore, Air Peace apologized for any inconvenience caused to passengers with affected travel plans, assuring them that normal services will resume promptly after the restrictions are lifted.

Reacting to this, Pa user, Gloves Gloria remarked, “The suspension might be precautionary; let’s hope it’s safe”.

Another user, Fatai queried, “Hope there is alternative?”.

However, Prince Adebayo stated, “Nothing like elections in Lagos State on Saturday, it’s just the day assigned to announce their selected candidates officially 😁😁🤣😁”.
