The award, now in its fifth edition, continues to highlight the growing influence of African players in Spanish football.

Voting process and past winners

This year’s ceremony will be held in Lagos, with fans across Africa playing a key role in determining the winner through a combined voting system involving public input and expert assessment.

Previous recipients include Samuel Chukwueze and Yassine Bounou, both of whom have made significant impacts in La Liga.
