Actress Nkechi Blessing blames men for pushing ladies into BBL

Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing Sunday has sparked widespread reactions online after speaking out about body shaming and cosmetic surgery.
In a video shared on social media, the actress accused some men of hypocrisy in conversations about body positivity.
She said many women are now being told to “love themselves the way they are” after years of being mocked over their appearance.
Actress Blames Body Shaming for Cosmetic Surgery
Speaking candidly, Nkechi Blessing said constant insults and pressure, especially online, have pushed many women to consider cosmetic procedures in order to meet society’s expectations.
According to her, the same people who criticised women’s bodies in the past are now the ones preaching self-acceptance.
She argued that such behaviour has contributed to the rising number of women seeking body enhancement surgeries.
The actress maintained that personal choices about one’s body should be respected.
However, she insisted that harsh comments and online bullying have played a major role in influencing some women’s decisions to alter their appearance.
“My Body Represents My Hard Work”
Nkechi Blessing also made it clear that she would not allow criticism or abuse to pressure her into changing her body.
She proudly stated that her body reflects her effort and achievements, adding that she is comfortable with the way she looks.
While acknowledging that women are free to make their own decisions, the actress explained that the only procedure she might consider in the future would be weight-loss surgery.
She stressed that enhancement procedures, particularly BBL, are not something she plans to undergo.
