Actor, Ugezu J. Ugezu opposes Tonto Dikeh’s call for Nigerians to get involved in Akuapem Poloo’s case

Popular Nollywood actor, Ugezu J. Ugezu opposes actress, Tonto Dikeh’s call for Nigerians to get involved in Akuapem Poloo’s case in order to see that she is freed.

The Ghanaian actress, Akuapem Poloo had been sentenced to 90 days imprisonment for taking nude photos with her son; an act that was heavily frowned at by the Ghanian authorities.

The ruling subsequently sparked protests as some claimed that the punishment was quite too harsh for her and pleaded for a subtle punishment rather. Tonto Dikeh, who seems to have joined this train, in an Instagram post called on Nigerians to support the ongoing protest in order to see that the actress is set free and brought home.

Reacting to the post, Ugezu J. Ugezu frowned at the idea of involving Nigerians in a matter like such, when there are a whole lot of sensitive issues that ought to be tackled in the country right now.
