“99% of men…” — Woman claims men stop kissing their wives after marriage
A viral video circulating on social media has stirred fresh conversations about intimacy and affection in modern marriages, particularly among Nigerian couples.
In the clip, a woman passionately addresses married women, urging them to appreciate simple acts of love from their partners.
The woman, who mixed humour with blunt honesty, suggested that many men stop expressing affection, especially through kissing, after marriage.
“Buy Him a Gift” — Woman Urges Appreciation
In the video, the woman stressed that a husband who still shows affection deserves recognition. He said:
“You be married woman, your husband still dey kiss you. Ah, buy am gift. Na me dey tell you, make you go market buy am gift?”
She went further to claim that many married men no longer engage in such acts, saying:
“99% of men, e don tey they kiss their wife. They no fit remember when they kiss their wife.”
According to her, affection tends to fade after marriage, unlike in dating stages where couples are more expressive.
Marriage vs Dating: A Shift in Intimacy?
The woman compared the behaviour of single ladies to that of married women, suggesting that romance is often more intense before marriage.
She said single ladies freely express affection, but warned that such gestures may reduce once marriage begins.
“Single girl just dey kiss now… because you see that guy wey dey bring mouth dey kiss you, he fit no kiss you again, if he marry you,” she added.
She, however, encouraged married women to value partners who still maintain romantic habits, describing it as a clear sign of love and emotional connection.
