50-year-old Nigerian woman over the moon as she welcomes twin girls after years of waiting

A Nigerian woman, Adesuwa Ujiadughele, has joyfully welcomed twin baby girls in her 50s, celebrating the milestone as a blessing after a challenging journey to motherhood.

Sharing her excitement on Facebook on Monday, August 18, 2025, Ujiadughele described carrying her own children at her age as a difficult path but expressed gratitude to God for guiding her through it.

“The waiting is over and we thank God for the gift of bountiful twin girls. I do not take it for granted at all. Having to carry my own babies in my fifties is not a road easy to pass, but then I thank God I passed it gracefully,” she wrote.

Acknowledging the demands of raising twins, Ujiadughele added:“Taking care of 1 kid is a handful, let alone twins. Things come in doubles these days, and my prayers to all waiting couples is that God has got your back.”

She also encouraged couples struggling with fertility not to delay seeking medical assistance, emphasizing a balance between faith and timely medical intervention.

“Make sure you seek medical aids ON TIME because most times we spiritualize things that are medically [necessary]. And please don’t get me wrong! Without Jehovah saying amen to our ventures, obviously it can’t work. Anyways, all the Glory belongs to God Almighty,” she stated.
