Residents of Eneka and the kinsmen of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister Nyesom Wike in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area have thrown their support behind Governor Siminalayi Fubara as he seeks a second term in 2027.
The endorsement was made during the 2025 Eneka Day celebration at State Primary School One, Eneka, which carried the theme, “Unity: Our Strength for Progress.”
Community Leaders Speak

“Our people stand firmly with Governor Fubara. We appreciate the developments in our communities, and we call on the government to repair our internal roads.”
Chukwu also urged the government to upgrade the Eneka traditional stool, noting, “Elevating our traditional stool to first-class status will strengthen our cultural heritage and promote unity among our people.”

Senator John Azuta-Mbata, political leader of the Eneka Clan and President-General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, added,
“The people of Eneka recognise Governor Fubara as the legitimate leader of Rivers State. Our support and friendship remain firm and unbroken.”
