2027: “No alliance with Peter Obi, President Tinubu remain my choice” – MC Oluomo clarifies

President of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, Musiliu Akinsanya, also known as MC Oluomo, has denied allegations of meeting former presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, ahead of the 2027 general elections.

It was gathered that MC Oluomo and Obi was spotted together in a viral image, suggesting that the Lagos socialite has shifted his loyalty away from President Bola Tinubu ahead of 2027 general election.

The All Progressives Congress chieftain in a post shared via his Instagram page on Tuesday stated that there is no evidence of meeting with the former governor of Anambra State or receiving a congratulatory message from him.

MC Oluomo disclosed  that he was currently out of his country, reaffirmed his support for President Tinubu, adding that the image showing him and Obi together is fake.

He said: “I, Alhaji Musiliu Ayinde Akinsanya (MC Oluomo), National President of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), have taken notice of a manipulated image and false news report circulating on social media, particularly in the northern part of Nigeria.

“The report falsely claims that Peter Obi paid homage to me and vowed to work with me. I categorically state that this report is entirely false and without basis. Multiple fact-checking platforms and blogs have already debunked this claim, revealing that the image was photoshopped.

“There is no evidence of any meeting or congratulatory message from Peter Obi to me. I am currently abroad, and any claims suggesting otherwise are baseless. I urge the public to disregard this false news and rely on credible sources of information. I reaffirm my support for HE Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his Hope Agenda.”
