2027: “I took Opay loan for Tinubu, Oyebanjo re-election campaign” – Driver goes viral over shocking confession

A Nigerian mini bus driver has gone viral after revealing he borrowed money from Opay to brand his vehicle in support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Ekiti state Governor, Biodun Oyebanjis 2027 re-election campaign.

The driver said branding the bus has been a long-time dream, but he couldn’t afford it until now. He explained that his actions were driven by passion and loyalty to the leaders.

In his words, he said:

“To brand this car I borrowed money from Opay, that’s to tell you the love and passion I have for them. I have the evidence and pictures on how I borrowed the money, because years back I have been looking for an avenue to brand a car for them, but I didn’t have money then.”

He further praised the leaders for caring for the less privileged, traders, students, and many more, saying ordinary citizens should recognize good deeds when they see them.

“They care for the less privileged, for traders, for students and many more. If someone is doing good, let us admit the person is good,” he added.

His revelation has sparked reactions online.

Some praised his dedication and passion, saying it shows the enthusiasm of ordinary Nigerians in politics. Others criticized him for risking personal finances to support political campaigns.

This viral video has sparked conversations on how far some citizens are willing to go to support leaders they admire, and the personal sacrifice they make.
