2027: “All your magic won’t work” — Primate Ayodele suggests what Tinubu, APC should do to avoid defeat

Primate Elijah Ayodele, the Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has warned President Bola Tinubu that opposition forces could defeat him in the 2027 presidential election.
Ayodele said the president could face a difficult contest if his administration failed to address the concerns and grievances of Nigerians before the election.

The cleric made the prediction in a statement issued on Tuesday by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin as reported by the Daily Post.
Ayodele identifies possible threat to Tinubu
According to Ayodele, politicians who fail to secure tickets within the ruling party may eventually turn against Tinubu and work against his re-election.
He also claimed that some individuals around the president were misleading him by portraying the situation in the country as better than it was.
Ayodele said: “Tinubu is very desperate; he has not done what Nigerians want, and people surrounding him are deceiving him. They only want to eat his money.
“Most of the people who dropped from the party will work against Tinubu’s victory, and he can lose the election if he isn’t careful.”
The cleric specifically mentioned former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and other opposition figures as potential threats to Tinubu’s second-term ambition.
According to him, “the coalition of Atiku and others can take Tinubu out of office, regardless of those he has with him.”
‘Pacify Nigerians’
Ayodele further warned the president against relying on alleged plans to secure victory through means other than popular votes.
He said Nigerians would resist any attempt to manipulate the electoral process, adding that the 2027 election could be highly competitive.
“All the plans to rig will be resisted by Nigerians, and mind you, the election is going to be tough. Don’t expect it to be free and fair.
“People will show that they are desperate, and people will show they don’t want APC. The party needs to pacify Nigerians; otherwise, all the magic will not work,” he added.
