Fireboy DML opens up on why he now smokes despite singing against it

Nigerian music sensation Fireboy DML has opened up on his decision to embrace smoking cannabis, known as weed, despite previously singing against it.

The YBNL artiste shed light on the personal growth and evolving perspectives that led to his shift in stance.

The revelation came amidst a social media exchange sparked by apparent contradictions in Fireboy’s lyrics.

Fans had raised questions about the disparity between his assertion of not “blowing trees” in one song and the reference to rolling one in another.

“Fireboy: “I no dey blow trees…”

Also Fireboy: “Wake up in the morning and I roll one…”

Me: Roll what Oga?

Fireboy: “Gimme one indica and one sativa too..” the fan wrote.

Responding to queries from fans, Fireboy DML took to Twitter to provide clarity.  In his tweets, he discussed how people change over time and how personal decisions can shift.
