Two Nigerians in possession of 536g of Heroin Arrested in India

The drug enforcement agency in India, the Narcotics Control Bureau, Chandigarh Zonal Unit have confiscated about 536g of Heroin and arrested two Nigerians namely Alitumo Ifedi Shedrack and Okechuku Orji.

Alitumo was admitted to Government Multi Specialty Hospital (GMSH), with illness and his associate, Ikechukwu Orji, was remanded in judicial custody.

The Narcotics Control Bureau has additionally asked for Chandigarh police to document a crisp FIR against them as they neglected to deliver their passports.

NCB Zonal Director Kaustubh Sharma stated, “Examination suggested that an elder brother of Alitumo went to Nigeria with his passport, two months back, and passed on every one of his contacts, who used to get heroin from him, to Alitumo.”
