"Tithing Is Not Compulsory"- Dr. Olukoya, MFM General Overseer The General Overseer of Mountain of Fire and Ministries, Dr. DK Olukoya, has spoken on the controversial tithing issue and according to him,’Tithing is not compulsory’.

Dr. Olukoya stated this,  during today’s service at Mountain of Fire and Ministries International Headquarters.

“There is nowhere in the Bible where it is written that tithing and giving offering is compulsory. But if you want to trust God with your finances you should even strive to do more than the tithe.”he said

He added that real Christians sees everything they own as Gods and those with faith have gone beyond giving 10% and by doing so you God may bless you even more and this way you are sowing seed for future prosperity.

  1. Lagos State Government should stop extortion of VIO. Recently the government of HE Gov Akinwumi Ambode stop the harassment of the VIO by stopping their operations on Lagos road and introduce e payment for transaction which is a welcome development been lo and behold it does not work always no network you will be forced to pay additional three hundred naira before you will be attended to HE Ambode should please look into this and allow the motorists to pay the actual fee at the bank and bring teller for certification Thanks
