Popular monkey who starred in 25 movies over two decades was the super star at the sixth annual Pawscars; an award event for the animal version of the Oscars.
The monkey named Crystal was awarded the Lifetime Diva Achievement Award. And she waved her statue with joy.
The monkey have been featured in top films like Ben Stillerin Night at the Museum and Hangover Part II. Pauley Perette who hosted the event with teen actor Lou Wenger said “Crystal is the Angelina Jolie of animal stars,”.
Pauley asked the monkey, “So Crystal, you have starred with some of the top leading men of all times – Bradley Cooper, Ben Stiller, Matt Damon, Robin Williams – did you have a favorite?”
Crystal nods and chitters as her reply appears on screen, “Robin did call me his favorite leading lady, but my favorite leading man has to be my trainer Tom Gunderson.”
Other animals were honored at the event.
