Students of LAUTECH are expected back in school to continue their academic activities as the issues surrounding the industrial strike have been resolved.
Lectures will commence on Monday 23rd October 2017.
The decision to put the strike on hold was reached at the congress held today at the Mani campus of the institution in Ogbomoso.
Details of the meeting are still scanty as at the moment of writing this report but it was learnt that they lecturers agreed to return back to class base on assurance from the management and the governing council that their salary arrears and other issues that led to the strike will be resolved.
It would be recalled that the lecturers embarked on the industrial action in April shortly after the end of first semester examination.
