Would you drink garri if it costs this much?
A 5-star hotel known as Kempinski Hotels in Gold coast, Accra, Ghana, sold a plate of drinking garri at a price most Nigerians would consider as ridiculous.
The bowl of garri which has groundnuts, milk frozen into ice cubes, and sliced coconuts, was given funkier names and sold at 145 Ghana Cedis, which is about N8,000.
What is so special about this garri?
They called it “Cassava flakes, smoked nuts, sugar, ice cube milk, fresh skimmed milk, water, shaved coconuts” Here’s what the Twitter user who put it up had to say:
