The State Security Service, SSS, together with the Independent Corrupt Practices and other associated crimes Commission, ICPC, yesterday stormed the house of a former vice president, Namadi Sambo, situated at No. 1 Alimi road in Kaduna state. Sambo was the Vice president in Goodluck Jonathan’s regime.
According to information received, the security officials visited the home of the ex-vice president at around 3pm and departed at about 5.10pm when they are done with their search. The operatives who came with a warrant to search the property, gave a copy to Sambo’s Chief Security Officer. They did not take any item from the house. On the court paper given to Sambo’s CSO, they wrote that nothing suspicious was found. The media aide of the former Vice president confirmed that this would be the fifth time the house had been raided by the operatives.
