BLESSING OKAGBARE OF NIGERIA CLINCHES BRONZE AT IAAF WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP 200M FINALS

imagesTeam Nigeria captain, Blessing Okagbare has won the Bronze medal at the IAAF World Championship Moscow 2013. She ran a time of 22:32. Ahoure of Ivory coast also at 22:32 got the Silver and the Gold went to Ann-Pryce of Jamaica who made it a double after the 100m Gold same as Ahoure who got the 100m Silver.

Okagbare who has been unbeaten this season in the 200m was excited as it made up for her disappointing 6th place at the 100m finals. She started the tournament with a Silver at the long jump finals.

With this Nigeria have won 2 medals at this years event ; all from the fantastic amiable captain Blessing.
Nigerians would be happy by her performance and a Presidential reception is certain for her.
