Alibaba has now refuted his statement after taking correction from one his Instagram followers.

The follower said this matter should not be taken as a joke as it can tarnish the image of the company and he expected Alibaba to make a thorough observation before making his conclusion.

The follower claimed to be a pharmacist and the head of operations of a major pharmaceutical company in Nigeria.

The follower who goes by the handle, Sholzypixel, said the date is purely the handwork of saboteurs.

According to him, the 2019 in the manufacturing date could have been 2018 and someone scratched some parts of the 8 to make it look like 9, so as to strike up controversies of just for fun.

He further said that the font type of the 9 in the manufacturing date and that of the NAFDAC number are different, hence, it is not possible.
