Nigerian socialite, Baddie Kimmy K has stated reasons why Nigerian artists do not feel compelled to attend the Headies Awards.

On Pulse Hot Takes, Kimmy K stated that the Headies has the potential to become the greatest awards ceremony in Africa, but because of its repeated failures, Nigerian musicians are now embarrassed to attend.

She suggested that in order to shake things up and create anticipation for the awards, the show’s organizers need to rebrand and engage some youthful talent.

It is worth noting that the Headies is a music awards show organized to honor notable accomplishments in the Nigerian music business.
