“We’ve already paid, they came to cut light” – Drama as Nigerian lady clashes with NEPA staff over disconnected power
A bold Nigerian lady has sparked reactions on social media as she holds a NEPA staff by his shirt after he disconnected her electricity and took the cable wire, despite her having already paid her NEPA bills.
The incident was captured in a video captioned: “This is the second time this man is doing something like this! I mean, no one was home, and they had already paid for the month, but he came to cut the electricity.”
In the video, the lady can be seen firmly holding one of the two NEPA staff members by his shirt, while also pointing to the other staff member who was holding her house cable or wire and refusing to let go.
The lady, who is based in Kogi state, vowed to inform the electricity distribution company in the state and report the issue to them.
The video, however, attracted the attention of many social media users after it was shared online.
