Senator Dino Melaye, the PDP governorship candidate in Kogi State, has expressed his support for BBNaija housemate Ilebaye.

Melaye urged others to vote for her emphasizing that his support is based on her being from Kogi state. He made this call after Ilebaye’s father visited him at his Abuja residence.

He sees her as a representative of the state and encourages others to vote for her in the BBNaija reality TV show.

He said; “With the proud father of llebaye of Big Brother Naija. We all support our own. I will vote for Kogi State. Vote Ilebaye.”

In response to Melaye’s endorsement of Ilebaye, netizens expressed mixed reactions in the comment section.

Some questioned why Melaye was turning it into a tribal matter, while others were stunned about Ilebaye’s rich background.
