Nollywood mourn as Ogunjimi passes on

The Nigerian movie industry, Nollywood suffers another tragic loss as veteran actor, Ganiyu Oyeyemi better known as Ogunjimi passes on.

Actor Kunle Afod shared this sad news on Friday, April 26, revealing that Ogunjimi passed away despite the effort to avert his demise.

The deceased was widely recognized for his intense roles, particularly as a warlord in Yoruba movies. He gained popularity for portraying characters with mystical powers, often playing the role of a wizard in movies involving witchcraft themes.

Ogunjimi was grouped among actors like Abija, Lalude, Fadeyi, and Dagunro, renowned for their traditional herbalist roles in films.

Sharing the sad news, Kunle Afod wrote in a caption: “We tried our best but God loves you more May his soul rest in peace Baba Ogunjinmi RIP Sun re oooo.”
