Nigeria’s Super Falcons to battle South Africa in final qualifying round of Paris 2024 Olympic

Super Falcons of Nigeria have been drawn to face South Africa in the final qualifying round for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

This follows South Africa’s 1-0 win over Tanzania in the second leg of their third-round clash, securing a 4-0 aggregate win.

Meanwhile, Nigerian women earned their spot in the final qualifying round by defeating Cameroon 1-0 in Abuja on Monday, after a goalless draw in Douala, in the first leg.

Esther Okoronkwo’s goal in Abuja proved to be the decider between the two Africa giants.

The upcoming clash against South Africa hands the Falcons an opportunity to qualify for the Olympic Games for the first time in 16 years.
