A viral video showcasing Yusuf skillfully riding the innovative creation has captivated the hearts of Nigerians, who admire his resourcefulness and unique approach to transportation.
Engineer Yusuf’s bike, a product of his hard work and dedication, boasts a motorized tensioner system and a small fuel tank, demonstrating a blend of modern mechanics with traditional biking elements.
The captivating video shows him navigating the streets of Maiduguri with ease, impressing onlookers and leaving a trail of fascination wherever he goes.
The skilled engineer took pride in revealing his workshop, where he fabricates the awe-inspiring bikes.
Yusuf revealed that he not only built the motorized bike seen in the video but has also constructed numerous other versions catering to various needs, including bikes for the disabled, tricycles, cargo bicycles, and more.
When approached for a statement, Yusuf said;
“I’m based in Maiduguri and I have built many bikes for both crippled, tricycles, normal bicycles, cargo bicycles and many more. I learned it myself and yes, I have sold many. The motorized bike is operated using a tensioner system.”
The talented inventor revealed that each bike costs approximately N130,000 to produce, and he sells them at a reasonable price of N160,000, making it an attractive and affordable option for many.
