Juventus eye January move for Domenico Berardi
Juventus are reportedly considering another attempt to sign Sassuolo’s Domenico Berardi in the upcoming January transfer window.
Juventus had earlier pursued Berardi during the summer but failed to secure an agreement, leading Sassuolo to close the door on the deal.
This time around, the Italian giants are readying a loan deal with an option to buy, a tactics that have proven successful for them in the past.
The approach will allow Juventus spread the transfer fee over several years while acquiring the player immediately.
Football Italia noted that Berardi has a minimum price tag of €30 million. The player is also Sassuolo’s captain, and has a deal with the club until June 2027.
The 29-year-old Italian international has a history with Juventus, having been co-owned by the club from 2013 to 2015 when such deals were allowed.
