Hilda Baci reacts as Guinness World Records officially announces her as winner of longest cooking marathon

Nigerian chef, Hilda Baci, has reacted after Guinness World Records officially verified her 100-hour cook-a-thon.

Celebrity chef, Hilda Baci, was awarded the Guinness World Record for the highest cooking marathon (individual) with 93 hours and 11 minutes.

The announcement was made on the Guinness World Record Twitter page, where they congratulated the chef on her achievement.

After reviewing all the footage, Guinness World Record tweeted,

“We’re delighted to announce that Hilda Baci is the new record holder for the longest cooking marathon (individual).”

Hilda Baci’s record-breaking feat surpassed the previous record of 87 hours and 45 minutes set by Indian chef, Lata Tondon, in 2019.

Baci’s record has inspired chefs from around the world to attempt to break it, including Chef Dammy of Ekiti State and Chef Prince Temitope Adebayo, popularly known as Tope Maggie from Ogbomoso, Oyo State.

Reacting to the news of her achievement, Hilda Baci tweeted,

“This is the best news ever omg omg omg thank you so much.”

Netizens flooded her comment section, congratulating the chef on her outstanding achievement. Hilda Baci is a renowned chef in Nigeria and has become a household name in the culinary world.
