The deceased reportedly arrived at the structure around 6 p.m. local time, took the elevator to the 49th floor, and then used the stairs to reach the top of the structure.
Lucidi was described as a “friendly and humble guy” by Gurjit Kaur, the proprietor of the hostel where he was staying.

Authorities in the area reported that Lucidi was last seen alive around 7:40 p. m. when he knocked on the outside of a penthouse window, causing the maid of a resident to dial 911.

At the scene, a camera belonging to Lucidi that had footage of his earlier stunts was found. His most recent Instagram post, published last week, verified his presence in Hong Kong.

Although the cause of his passing has not yet been officially announced by the police, many believe that he fell from the 68th floor while trying to take shots for his social media pages as always.

According to a worker at the hostel, he interacted with Lucidi on multiple occasions before his passing, and he had mentioned that he was in Hong Kong for a vacation.

“He told me he was going to hike a mountain when I asked where he was going. He said he wanted to hike a lot when he was here,” said the worker.
