Chelsea open to loaning Armando Broja to Wolves, if…
Wolves have expressed interest in securing a loan deal for Chelsea’s forward Armando Broja, according to reports on Tuesday.
Gary O’Neil’s side are eager to bolster their attacking options before the January transfer window closes, with Broja identified as a target, talkSPORT says.
While Chelsea are open to letting Broja go on loan, they have stated that a replacement must be secured first.
Broja’s time at Stamford Bridge has been disrupted by a serious knee injury, limiting his game time and impact on the pitch.
Since his return to action in September, the 22-year-old has made only seven starts and 17 appearances in total, scoring two goals.
With Chelsea currently ninth place in the Premier League, the club are exploring options to strengthen their squad for a European football push next season.
Recall that other Chelsea forwards like Christopher Nkunku and Nicolas Jackson are currently unavailable, due to injury and international duty, respectively, making Broja the only option for the Blues in the attacking department.
