Read the narration below …

“I’m a little confused about something so I decided to seek advice.
I noticed my fiancé had cut marks, razor cuts on his body which is new. So I asked him what it was, he opened up and told me it was for protection (odeshi) base on the insecurities and unnecessary shootings here. Meaning he visited a native doctor for it.

Ever since I’ve been distancing myself and all because I am surprised he visited a native doctor, someone that prays all the time. He is way more prayerful than I even am.
We are supposed to get married but I’m just scared, what if he is telling lies about the cut? What if it’s rituals?
I don’t know what to do about it I’m just scared about the whole thing.”
