Serie B leaders Parma have officially confirmed their promotion to Serie A following Wednesday evening’s 1-1 draw away to struggling Bari.
Parma now sit at the top of the Italian second division with 74 points after 36 league matches of the 2023/24 campaign, with two games left.
They could officially clinch the Serie B title if they beat Cremonese at the weekend, depending on the result of other competing teams.
After finishing fourth last season and narrowly missing out on promotion, Parma have now bounced back under manager Fabio Pecchia.
They only have four losses in the league, coupled with 21 wins and 11 draws, which ensured they secured the League’s top spot.
Wingers Dennis Man and Adrian Benedyczak have been instrumental in Parma’s success journey, combining for 24 goals in all competitions this season.
Man leads the team with 13 goals, while Benedyczak has contributed 11.
